You build finished records in Logic Pro, FL Studio and Ableton Live, one module a week, from the first empty session through to a master that holds up on a phone speaker and on a club system. Sessions run remotely and physically, so you can attend at the studio in Kampala or follow the same week online.

Isaiah Mucunguzi
Music Producer & Composer (iZAYA) · Ableton Live
Isaiah writes and produces as iZAYA, an electronic artist from Kampala. His music has appeared in Walt Disney's Queen of Katwe, in HBO-sponsored productions and on CNN's Inside Africa. TECNO and Infinix have hired him to score phone campaigns, South Africa's National Arts Festival commissioned him for a dance theatre piece, and a sustainability project in Abu Dhabi runs on an audio identity he built.

On stage he performs semi-live, playing guitar, djembe and synths over tracks running out of Ableton Live. He calls the result Retro Bass: Ugandan rhythms folded into 80s pop and dance music. He also works in new media as an art director, with motion design, projection mapping and stage design on his credit list.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the Music Production programme for?
Producers who already make music and want to finish and release it. You should be comfortable opening a session and laying an idea down. Over twelve weeks the programme takes you from that point to a mastered record you can put out.
Do I need to own Logic Pro, FL Studio or Ableton Live?
One of the three is enough. Isaiah teaches every module across all three, and the assignments can be completed in whichever one you already work in. He performs and releases out of Ableton Live, so the live sessions run there. Trial versions and the lite editions bundled with most audio interfaces will carry you through the early modules.
What equipment do I need?
A laptop that runs your DAW, closed-back headphones, and an audio interface with one microphone input once you reach the recording and vocal modules. A MIDI keyboard makes the writing weeks easier but is not required. We sort out your setup during onboarding.
How long is the programme and how is it delivered?
Twelve weeks, one module per week, starting 1 August 2026. You can attend physically at the studio or follow the same week remotely. Both routes cover the same lessons, assignments and knowledge checks. Lessons stay open in your dashboard, so a week you miss is a week you can catch up.
What does it cost, and can I pay per module?
The full programme is UGX 240,000. Single modules are sold separately at UGX 20,000 each if you would rather take a week at a time. Payment is by card or mobile money at enrollment, and bank and MTN MoMo instructions are shown at checkout.
Will I get a certificate, and who do I call to register?
