This certificate is structured to the Dolby Creator Lab academic pattern: 20 hours of assessed studio practicals (16 sessions of 75 minutes in the Atmos room, one per lesson) plus 20 hours of guided self-study on the platform (16 plans of 75 minutes). The four modules track the Dolby music-mixing learning path, foundations and spatial hearing, studio and session setup, the Atmos mixing workflow, and delivery/QC, finishing with an ADM master, a QC log and a practical logbook as assessed artefacts.

Paul cleans up and mixes the sound you hear in films and documentaries: dialogue editing, ADR, noise cleanup, sound effects and final mixes. He mixed the dialogue on 3 Cold Dishes (2025), the feature executive produced by Burna Boy that won Best Sound at the 2025 REFFA Awards in Ghana. His credit list also covers seven DSTV television shows, the NSSF series Friends With Benefits and more than ten award-winning features and shorts.

Away from cinema he consults on acoustics for buildings and AV installations, on specialised rooms such as ENT audiology booths, and for churches running live services and streams every week. He has judged the Uganda Film Festival and the Silverback Awards, and teaches masterclasses at Durban FilmMart and across East Africa.

Will I get a certificate, and how do payments work?
You finish with practical, portfolio-ready skills and a Quad A Academy certificate you can verify online. Tuition can be paid by card or mobile money; bank and MTN MoMo instructions are shown at enrollment, and scholarships are available for eligible applicants.
