Music Production

A working producer’s course in music production. Each week covers one module: session setup, recording and gain staging, drum programming, bass, chords and arrangement, sampling, synthesis, vocal recording, vocal production, mixing, automation and effects, then mastering and release. Taught across Logic Pro, FL Studio and Ableton Live so you can work in whichever one you already own, with Ableton used for the live performance sessions. Strong East African context throughout: afrobeats, amapiano and kidandali grooves, small-speaker translation, and the realities of releasing and getting paid from Uganda.
